Two weeks up in Cairns (Queensland) for work. A weekend sandwiched in between. What better ways to spend it but to do something adventurous. Diving would be good, but 2 days is not enough (I reckon)... I've always wanted to go white water rafting, and the Tully River is well known for it's grade 3 - 4 rapids... We rafted for 17++ kilometres. And yes, some of us fell off the raft into the raging rapids at one point - now I know how it feels like to be in a huge washing machine. Swam to shore and held on for dear life. Hehe!
